Most people in their twenties and thirties have sat through a Rosh Hashanah service that felt long, unfamiliar, and hard to follow. This is the opposite. It starts over coffee and pastries at 9:00, moves into a 90-minute interactive service that's explained as it goes, and closes with a sermon from Rabbi Scheiner and a private YJP kiddush.
No background is assumed and no Hebrew is required. Come alone or bring a friend — you'll be sitting with other young Jewish professionals from across Palm Beach, and someone will make sure you know what page we're on.

Questions people usually have
Do I need a ticket or a membership?
No. There is no ticket charge and no membership requirement for young Jewish professionals. Just RSVP so we know to expect you.
What if I've never been to a Rosh Hashanah service?
Then you're exactly who this was built for. The service is explained as it goes, everything is in English and Hebrew side by side, and no one is expected to already know the choreography. Plenty of people in the room are there for the first time.
What should I wear?
Whatever you'd wear to a nice brunch. Most people land somewhere between smart casual and dressy. Nobody is checking.
Can I come alone?
Most people do. The room is young Jewish professionals from across Palm Beach and West Palm Beach, and the kiddush afterward is specifically there so you leave having met a few of them.
What about Yom Kippur?
Yom Kippur begins the evening of Sunday, September 20 and ends the night of Monday, September 21. Note it on the RSVP form and we'll make sure you have everything you need for the day.
